Cubs

The Cub Scout Pack consists of members who are aged 8 – 10½ and are split into smaller groups called Sixes. Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.

Meeting Night

Thursday 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

The Cub Scout Pack is led by the Cub Scout Leader (Akela) and assisted by at least one Assistant Cub Scout Leader.

Aims

During their time as a Cub Scout, they will be involved in activities and games which will enable them to earn challenge awards, which in themselves form the basis of the programme. There are also a number of activity badges which Cubs can earn at Pack meetings and at home. All Cub Scout activities are based on each child doing their best and a recognition that the level of achievement will vary between individuals.
